Worthing is easily accessible from the Channel Ports, Gatwick, Heathrow and Shoreham Airports. Worthing is on the main routes for the south, east and west. London is an easy day trip, and further north is easily travelled due to the availability of motorways and public transport.

Worthing is also ideal as a base to tour the surrounding area. Within an hours drive are Eastbourne, Lewes, Brighton, Littlehampton, Arundel, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Portsmouth and much more.

Blair House Hotel is within easy walking distance of Worthing central railway station, the seafront and business parks. There are also many excellent pubs, night clubs and restaurants. A short walk will take you to Worthing museum, theatre, cinema and ten pin bowling. There is an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and outside pool for children. Worthing has an excellent shopping centre.

Also there is easy access to the South Downs Way and thus the soon to be National Park.

Lawn Bowls is popular in Worthing and the EBA headquarters can be found at Beach House Park. This hosts the National Bowls championships annually.

Worthing also hosts two National Hockey weekends, Seafront Fayre and many other special events.

Goodwood Horse racing and Festival of Speed, Fontwell Racing, Brighton Races are all within driving distance.

Arundel is surrounded by lovely nature walks, comfortable pubs and Wild Fowl Park and also a cathedral close by.

The town of Arundel is historic and quaint with many antique and other shops.

Worthing and the larger area of Sussex also has many beautiful gardens to explore.
